It's spacious and, though in the lower level, quite light and opens up into a truly lovely backyard.
A very nice space, and Judy the host was consulate -- she made everything really easy and was a pleasure.
Judy was a great hostess and made me feel very comfortable.
My private room was very clean and appointed with welcoming refreshments and reading material to relax with as well as publications describing things to do during my stay.
Her home is located in a tranquil community of beautifully manicured and maintained homes.
It was a pleasure to meet Judy.
It was spacious and comfortable.
She was easy to get a hold of, and had great recommendations on things to do in the area.
We went to the Indiana Dunes and it was about 10 minutes away.
Her home is lovely as is she--we only wished we could stay longer!
She provided a great breakfast and all the information we needed to explore the area with the little bit of time.
She met my girlfriend and me outside right as we pulled up into her driveway and warmly welcomed us in.
She introduced us to our area -- a completely finished and artistically-decorated basement with 2 beds, a kitchen table, a living room area, a full bath, and even a backyard deck!
Judy is very friendly, highly accommodating, has a beautiful home, and charges a very competitive price.
I highly recommend using her indiana boat casino you are visiting the Indiana Dunes as she is about 10 minutes away and knows the surrounding area very, very well.
Our first stay through Airbnb, and I'm afraid Judy may have spoiled us!
She was wonderful and her home was beautiful and immaculate!
She even looks up 4th of July festivities in the surrounding area for us.
We hadn't considered going to Chicago, but she let us know that the station was close by if we were interested.
We ended up going and watching the fireworks from Navy Pier!
Back at the Dunes and Beverly Shores, we found that the locals were very friendly.
We inadvertently won trivia night at Dark Star who has WONDERFUL food.
Judy gave us great advice and I have been recommending her to everyone.
All in all, it was one of the best mini-vacations in my life.
From the people, the places, the scenery, the food.
This is in Yogi Bear campground, enjoy night bonfires with friends and family!
We have a double lot, more space for outside activities.
There are 3 pools available, a beach, and mini golf course Park charges to play mini-golf Weekend entertainment bands, games for children, hayride for the whole family for FREE!
Great fun for kids of all ages!
No complaints here, would highly recommend!
This was our first Air BnB experience and he was fantastic.
Communication was stellar, room was lovely and home was welcoming.
We especially appreciated his exceptional flexibility with our schedule coming into town, which got away from us.
Lots of wooded county roads, just beautiful scenery.
He's flexible, super friendly and an all around great AIRBNB host.
I arrived a bit early and Terry was able to accommodate letting me in.
The place is clean, quiet and cozy.
Terry gave me fantastic suggestions of where to stop for coffee downtown Valpo.
I recommend staying at Terry's if you like accommodating and clean living quarters!
I can only speak in superlatives.
Terry overmatched our expectations big time.
Read the other reviews: very nice neighborhood, Terry is awesome, etc.
It was not only well priced, but it also truely made me feel at home.
We went to the Kemil beach near by his place, and he recommended places to eat and when to go due to the crowd and the weather that day!
It was very thoughtful.
Terry meant to be above and byeond in hosting so we appreciate his efforts.

This is an automated posting.
The large garden and grill catered to lovely evenings.
It is a 5 min walk to a lovely part of the beach.
It was a little sparse in cooking equipment but we were warned.
Part left us a blow up bed also that came in handy.
Very easy instructions and Patt was a good host.
Conveniently located to Washington Park, the zoo, the beach it was the perfect place to stay for our weekend visit.
It is a two bedroom, but could easily sleep up to six with the pullout futon.
Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived.
The host was very friendly, welcoming, and flexible with arrival and departure times.
Communication was clear and in a timely fashion.
We definitely plan on staying there next time we are in Michigan City.
With a 15 minute walk to the zoo, beach and parks, this was the perfect location.
The space was large and clean, and it is great for a family.
The host went above and beyond - she had s'mores materials waiting for us when we arrived, and she had the fire pit ready for use.
She provided great recommendations.
She was very warm and welcoming the entire weekend.
We'll definitely be coming back here.
Apparently, it got lost in AirBnB's black hole.
Luckily the information regarding the rental was not as confusing as the web site.
With that said, I will repeat my initial review.
I did say I considered this rental was like a second home for me.
We loved the rental and our hostess with the mostest!!
To be fair I must admit it may be hard to return to here again under the same circumstances as our last visit.
The second reason is that some in my party are allergic to animals and while the upstairs was Games apps clean, the sounds and smells of animals from below were noticeable if you do not have pets to desensitize your senses.
The experience was okay, it was a very hot weekend and the air conditioning did not keep up too well for the upstairs.
The location is good for exploring Michigan City and surrounding area but it is on the edge between an industrial and a residential area.
The nearby train can be a bit loud as well.
The unit was actually nicer than it appeared in the photos!
Chris made sure we had everything we needed and made sure our stay was fantastic.
The Blue Chip was an easy, maybe 5 minute walk, and the beach was about 4 blocks away.
This was out first trip to the area and Elyse and Chris's hospitality made it perfect.
A delightfully perfect apartment with everything one could want or need in a fantastic location.
Top notch in every respect!!
We will be back!
The house is located on the water and it is 2 stories plus a basement.
The basement level walks directly out to the yard and patio overlooking the lake.
On the patio there is a swing, deck chairs and a table with umbrella.
No stairs involved getting to the beach once you are in the back yard.
Views from the sunroom and master bedroom are spectacular.
The town of Long Beach is charming.
The residential streets are ideal for biking indiana boat casino walking.
Grocery and retail shopping areas are a quick car ride away.

House is located in the legendary Long Beach, IN.
This is the get-away location for the Chicago elite.
We had 11 people over for a birthday party and it was perfect for us.
The place was a little more cozy than we expected, but it was perfect for what we wanted to do.
There is a great collection of board games as well.
The parents were able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area you see in the main picture while the kids were entertained inside.
All of the many beds were very comfortable.
We enjoyed a magical night at the beach with a bonfire and loved watching multiple shooting stars go by as there happened to be a meteor shower that night.
There were also fireworks at nearby towns to enjoy on the Saturday night.
John was responsive to my questions and requests.
We had a great time!
The house fit 16 comfortably, and the nearby beach is beautiful!
We had an eventful weekend with all the comforts of home.
This neighborhood is truly a gem with an absolutely perfect beach.
The house is perfect for large groups.
If the previous reviewer that called it "cozy" was saying that it was smaller than expected, I would disagree.
If he was using cozy as a compliment, then I agree.
Maybe I missed something, but I would have liked the ability to play some tunes on the porch or in the big front yard.
I would recommend some outdoor speakers as well.
I couldn't find anywhere to access music or plug in our own devices.
A great getaway from Chicago.
Pat 2012-05-21T00:00:00Z This quaint family home built in the late '40s is the perfect getaway sitting among the trees atop the Indiana Dunes only minutes to the beach.
Two bedrooms and one bath with screened porch.
Our country style family beach cottage, built in 1946, is located atop a secluded oak tree laden 1+ acre dune property in Long Beach overlooking the Village of Long Beach.
This comfy, immaculate home is a two-block, five minute walk from the beautiful stop 23 private white sand beaches.
The accomodations provide comfort for all seasons.
Come enjoy and relax in our weekend and summer family Lake Michigan Home.
Just as we expected it.
It's not big, but we spent most of our time on the beach anyway.
I would definitely go back.
It was cozy, clean, comfortable, and a short walk to a lovely private beach.
There were even complimentary beers and wine in the refrigerator.
We had a great time on our vacation and loved the area.
The only issue we had was entry upon arrival.
Be sure to clarify how to get into the house ahead of time, as this was not clear to us and required some searching for the key.
She also said that new carpet has been installed and asked that we remove our shoes.
Called the cops to the house claiming there was blood everywhere.
Had the maid and others strangers coming into the house when neither she nor I was there.
She was demanding and overbearing considering I rented the entire house.
Rent at your own risk.
She was accomodating and informative.
It was a bit difficult to reach her at times however.
If you are looking for a house within a 5 minute walk to the beach, in a quiet, private area, this is it.
If, however, you also seek a finely furnished, spotless house, this is not the one for you.
It is priced reasonably, however, the house was in need of repairs that were to be completed before our month long rental, and were not i.
The home is definitely a family home, with personal items, pictures, clothing, etc throughout.
For a weekend renter, the lack of an empty dresser is not a problem, but for a monthly renter, it would be nice to have somewhere to put folded clothes.
The driveway is very steep, so be prepared to hike uphill.
As I said, this house is in a great URL HIDDEN is just not as pristine as the pictures look online.
Home was as described.
Kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the kitchen was well stocked if you like to cook.
A large dining table and 2 living spaces with plenty of couches made it comfortable for a larger group.
Friendly neighbors, well kept homes, etc.
The house is definitely walkable to the beach but not so close that you can come and go easily.
You'll want to pack drinks and snacks and plan to stay a while.
Once you get there the beach is wonderful!
Not overcrowded and also well maintained.
The house had a great floor plan for large groups and a ton of space in the newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen!
We spent a lot of our time on the deck which also had plenty of room.
Make sure to bring bikes and explore the surrounding area and beach.
Communication with Terry was easy and fast, we hope to come back next summer!
The neighborhood was nice.
The home was not clean; the fridge had a lot of expired items and inside the dishwasher was dirty.
The appliances were very out dated; not upgraded as in the listing.
The mattresses and pillows had stains.
The couches were dirty.
The vacuum did not work.
There were outlets with out plates on them.
There was a vent in the master bath that did not have a vent; no air in here either.
The yard was not maintained and the kids could not play out there.
We had to clean the chairs on the porch before we could sit out there.
The deck needs to be powerwashed there is a green mold on the wood; my daughter fell because it is slimy.
We left early because we just did not feel it was safe for the kids; we tried to make it work but it just kept getting worse.
The two separate seating areas is a plus.
The open kitchen is great.
Convenient to the beach.
The house is bigger than it looks in the picture.
Washer and dryer in unit a welcome touch.
We never met Terry in person but arrival and departure were made easy by the use of a lock box with code provided to us.
It was a bit musty-smelling when we entered but we opened the windows and this cleared up in no time.
It's about a 15 or so minute walk on streets, not a path to the beach and there is NO PARKING there so you have to walk or bike which was only an issue for two folks with us who had physical reasons they couldn't do those things but we got around it by dropping them off, driving indiana boat casino to leave the car at the cabin, and then walking over.
Neighbors were pretty relaxed and we had a great time.
Be prepared to clean up a bit at the end wash and fold linens and towels and sweep the floors but everything you need is provided except the basics you would always expect to need to bring.
Towels, toys, books, games, beach stuff, linens, soap, and even some food were there waiting when we arrived.
The beach is GORGEOUS and the water was beautiful.
Sunset is not to be missed.
Overall I'd highly recommend this listing and am very likely to stay here again in the future, possibly as soon as next year!
There was plenty of room inside, perfect for entertaining.
Our kids loved the smaller living room area with a TV.
The kids were excited to explore all the bins with vintage toys.
We loved the fact that both bathrooms were updated and clean.
Kitchen was clean and also updated.
The large table and huge countertop allowed us to spend a lot of time there- just talking and snacking.
After all, the weather was great and we spent most of our days enjoying the beach which is just 10 mins away.
The neighborhood is gorgeous, a lot of beautiful tall trees.
Our kids loved the deck and going on bike rides.
Terry has a great charcoal grill which we used everyday.
Communication with Terry was VERY easy, he answered all of my e-mails within 10minutes.
There was cable TV and Wi-Fi for guest use.
We strongly recommend staying at Terry's place!
It's perfect for family gatherings with small children.
The bathrooms and kitchen were updated and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook.
The house is clean and well-maintained.
It is a 10 min walk from the beach, which is beautiful and very family friendly.
There is also a park within walking distance of the house.
Terry was great to work with, his neighbors are very friendly, and we would definitely rent this house again for our family vacation.
The lake view is amazing the beach is about ten minutes walking distance from the beach and the hospitality by Terry was extraordinary.
I would recommend this getaway to every and anyone.
Rental supplied with golf cart and permit to Grand Beach private beaches Fenced back yard, pet friendly and sanitized home.
All ceramic and fully equipped.
Golf cart supplied to access beach community across highway.
Grand Beach is a unique community know as the Chicago Riviera.
You have access to the private beaches, golf course and more.
The accomodations were wonderful and the grounds were fantastic.
We had free run of the property, including the huge barn.
Cory let us hook up our small RV trailer to the electricity.
It was definitely worth the stay and we would stay there again.
Upon arrival, they showed us our room and gave us some time to settle in.
He showed us how to open the pool and gave us a tour of the property.
Their property was as described and the neighborhood is beautiful.
My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay.
This is a perfect place to go and escape from the busy work week and just relax by the pool and watch the country sunsets.
It is also close enough to other Indiana attractions like the Indiana Dunes, which we definitely explored they are a must see.
Cory and family thank you for all your hospitality and the fresh jalapenos you gave us from your garden.
I don't know what else to say.
The property was gorgeous, and the hosts were great.
The space was great for my wife and two young kids.
The pool was perfect and offered us a place to drink a beer and wine and watch the kids splash.
The barn is hard to describe as a barn, maybe a toy barn, with the trampoline and basketball half-court.
It gave me the perfect place to shoot around and watch the kids jump and ride the scooter around, or for me to just sit in the large doorway taking in the peacefulness and drink a coffee as the kids explored all the toys the barn had to offer.
I truly think the whole family made ourselves at home, and felt wlecome enough to feel at home.
The setting was beautiful mid-western country, much like we live in in Ohio, but rarely take the time to just relax in.
We loved Valparaiso, only a short drive away, there were cute little local shops, I never thought my wife would leave, and restaurants of all kinds.
The dunes, our original reason for the trip, its always hard to believe when I see dunes in the mid west, so hard to believe they're there and so much fun, we will never understand why most people go down south to beaches instead of Lake Michigan.
And they're only a short 25 minute drive from Cory's House.
I never even had a chance to walk the trail around the field, but I'll get to it next time we go, I'm pretty sure we'll go back.
Despite getting in later than expected, Cory was there to greet us with a smile, get us settled in and make us feel welcome.
The home is set far back from the road and parking is well lit and visible from the room.
We felt very safe.
The description was accurate and still doesn't convey how much space we had available to us.
Our room was a beautiful, clean and private apartment with plenty of pillows and bedding for my two teenagers and me to spread out.
We were pleasantly surprised by bagels, cream cheese, yogurt and juice already stocked in the mini fridge for our breakfast.
Cory spent time giving us suggestions for activities for our impromptu weekend away and we enjoyed having easy access to everything.
Highlights of the area close to the home include a lovely European farmers market and art gallery in Chesterton, the Taltree Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Valparaiso and the Indiana dunes and beaches near Michigan City.
The surrounding towns are quaint and charming Midwest railroad towns that still have plenty of character and history.
We were exploring the local attractions too much to have time to enjoy the pool or walking trails on the property, but we will definitely come back to explore the area more and visit with our wonderful host and his assortment of kittens and pets.
Vikki 2018-09-11T00:00:00Z Luxurious 3-BR Condo with Great View of Lake Michigan.
Located in the heart of New Buffalo.
Shuttle to 4 Winds Casino with new Hard Rock Cafe 3 Miles Away.
Beach 2 blocks away.
Amtrack train station 1 hour to Chicago.
The unit is gorgeous, well-appointed and HUGE, not to mention in a great location.
We enjoyed the indoor pool, walks along the marina and down to the beach, a day trip to Three Oaks, watching the sunset from the unit balcony and a fantastic coffee spot a block and a half from the condo.
Marty was wonderful to coordinate with and check-in went without a hitch.
The condo was perfect - large, well-maintained and within walking distance of many New Buffalo restaurants.
Marty was extremely easy to work with - he made checking in and out a breeze, and was very responsive to questions.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great spot to stay in New Buffalo.
This was perfect to spend some time catching up with some friends.
The photos do not do the place justice--its massive.
Everything was clean and in great shape.
The property was well appointed and had more than enough space for our group of 7 adults!
We had an absolutely beautiful weekend weather wise and took full advantage of the condo being walking distance to shops, restaurants and the lake as indiana boat casino as a short driving distance to the wineries!
As an added bonus I was able to take the Amtrak up from Chicago on Friday and avoid traffic and the condo was an incredibly short walk from the train station.
The owner was great to work with and very responsive to questions.
I cannot recommend this property highly enough, we will be back!
Cory 2018-09-28T00:00:00Z De gehele afgewerkte daglicht kelder in een 1800 vierkante voet huis.
Eigen badkamer, een slaapkamer, koelkast, etc.
Er is ook een bank om te slapen.
Beautiful downstairs space with lots of fun amenities.
Great coffee in the morning I didn't get to stay for breakfast.
Comic book and sports memorabilia delightful.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Terry was so kind and helpful for me.
I strongly recommend other guests to use his room.
There is a nice bar and sitting area with a nice large screen tv with a ton of channels, as well as a nice game table and a pool table.
Terry was very easy going with coordinating our arrival.
He invited us to let ourselves in and arrived about a half of an hour later to welcome us.
Terry is very personable and fun.
I also enjoyed geeking out a bit over Doctor Who and other such interests.
Terry offered some great recommendations.
Hunters brewing was my favorite!
The pictures do not do it justice.
It's the entire basement with pool table, bar, refrigerator, and separate bathroom.
Terry couldn't have been more welcoming.
Great stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I arrived very late but he waited for me.
I had a very pleasant stay.
Everything is how it's described.
The house is beautiful and clean.
I would love to come back.
He was extremely communicative, friendly, and accommodating, his house was clean and awesome especially if you're into baseball or comic book memorabiliaand his dogs Holly and Maggie were the cutest, sweetest roommates!
He's indiana boat casino well-traveled and gave us great recommendations for our roadtrip.
I hope I can return to Westville and stay with Terry again!
A beach parking pass is included with your stay.
Our sunny, vibrant home sleeps up to seven guests.
Our open floor plan with plenty of windows offer bright and airy surroundings.
Relax in our sunroom.
The large back yard is well equipped with grill, lawn furniture and picnic furniture.
The fire pit is great for your later evening outdoor socializing.
And, pets are welcome.
Newly updated bungalo with huge backyard within walking distance to downtown and the beach.
Everything inside is newly renovated, awesome kitchen, all new flooring ie.
All beds are brand new and all bedding is brand new.
New Buffalo is a quaint little town that is a great escape from the hustle and grind of the the work week.
The house provides many out door amenities with a large yard with a fire pit to enjoy the warm summer nights.
Inside relax in the living room that has all brand new couches with a 42" flat screen television with DVD player and plenty of ice cold Air Conditioning.
The Kitchen is completely redone and make yourself a cup of coffee in the keurig.
The house was spotless.
New and comfortable beds.
The board games were a nice touch, we got into some heated games of Sorry!
The house comfortably sleeps 6, you can have 8 in the house, but they need to sleep on the couch or floor.
The location is super close to everything, however, not really walking distance to the beach.
Parking is crazy in town on a holiday weekend.
No Wifi in the house or many places in town don't have wifi is just something to be mindful of.
No cable TV, but they have movies and a nice TV, which is also a nice touch.
Loved the Stray Dog restaurant and cute shops and other restaurants in town.
Villa Nova Pizza was a 2 hour wait for delivery or carry out but worth the wait, could be just the holiday weekend crowd.
They provided plenty of towels, kitchen necessities.
I would stay here again.
The location was on point!
Only took two minutes in a car to get to the beach and downtown area.
The air conditioning rocks!!
All the beds were super comfy with tons of extra blankets and pillows.
Would definitely stay here again!
She was very helpful and available to answer questions.
Her parents gave us the key when we arrived and they were incredibly sweet!
They gave us all sorts of info about the area and recommendations of where to go.
They even brought over a Pack n Play when we realized we had forgotten ours!
The house was fine.
Nothing fancy, definitely old, but clean.
The beds were comfortable.
There were outdoor toys and bubbles for the kids to play with.
The location was close to town.
We hadn't noticed until we got there that it is also close to a train.
We had white noise on to help our kids sleep at night anyway, so it wasn't a problem.
Our cell service was TERRIBLE in New Buffalo which made not having Wifi even more difficult.
There was a lot of confusion about the price as it would come up with different total prices for the same days when we looked at it on different computers.
Then when we requested to book we were quoted a higher price than what the website gave us.
I would double check about the price before booking.
It seems there are added expenses not automatically accounted for.
Also there is no laundry, so if you are staying for longer than a few nights you would need to make arrangements for clean sheets and towels.
Overall it was a good place to stay for the weekend.
We were happy to get out of the city and enjoy the backyard and fire pit, which was set up with wood for us.
The host couldn't be more attentive to our needs and responded to our questions very quickly.
We definitely recommend this place.
It was a brief stay so we didn't get to take advantage of all the place and area had to offer, but we enjoyed our stay.
Laura had good communication and was flexible with our arrival time.
